Interdependent Co-Arising Graphite Drawings – Pushing the Pencil

These images portray my next process of healing, and love of drawing.

After healing from two separate hand surgeries, I was able to gradually commence with using my arms and hands once again.

I sat for long periods in my home due to the advent of the Coronavirus restrictions. Sitting in silence, surrounded by the nature in my environment,  once again I had a yearning to return to my first love, drawing.  I tacked large full sheets of drawing paper to my bedroom wall.  Standing before the paper, holding a pencil in hand, lightly without grasping,  I began to scribble and scratch my way, little by little to imagery proficiency.  Once again gaining strength to my hands, neck, shoulder, and arms. I approached the drawings as a meditation practice. Often doing journey work and breathing exercises I received visuals from my inner resource, co-creating with a higher knowing and imagination.  I began to come back on-line, slowly regaining memory and the use of my upper body.

Here I summon from inner experience, the forces of nature, the universe and femininity.  These images are sourced from a deep still place within, guided into form.
