Inner Medicine Art drawings

All drawings are on acid-free Stonehenge paper measuring 30”x 40”

The media is graphite, pencil, and colored pencil. Lioness has gold leaf.

I am very influenced by my perceptions and contemplations of my inner life, with the understanding that I AM ONE WITH ALL OF LIFE.  Everything I see lives inside of me.  

After much healing, I was able to grasp a pencil once again and began my love of drawing and the creation of images.

While lying on top of the paper, I would have a friend trace around my body. I then took the paper back to my studio and hung it on the wall.  Then, standing before it, I would let the body position traced upon the paper speak to me. With no preconceived idea,  an image would begin to call forth, and I would follow it. 

Each piece reflects an aspect of myself and my inner life. They were all a delight and a mystery as they sprang forth, bringing me further strength and healing. 

Many are power animals.

I call these drawings my INNER MEDICINE ART.
