Foot Paintings

In the year 2011, I experienced a life-altering accident that left me unable to paint using my hands. I could not grasp with my hands.

The book “Falling In and Through” is an account of this incident and how it led me to paint a different way, with my actual feet. Still needing to create to make sense of life and to heal, I chose a different approach.

They are all acrylic on canvas

After I painted the pictures that became the book, I got pretty good at maneuvering the paint with my feet. I began to paint landscapes from my environment.
